FRP /GRP Fittings

GRP-fitting

Overview

GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) fittings are components used in piping systems, typically constructed using glass fibers embedded in a thermoset resin matrix (like polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy). These fittings are used in various industries due to their high strength, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, and lightweight properties.

Types of GRP Fittings

  • Elbows: 90°, 45°, or custom angles for changing the direction of piping.
  • Tee Fittings: For creating a junction between three pipes.
  • Reducers: Used to connect pipes of different diameters.
  • Couplings: For joining two sections of pipe.
  • End Caps: Used to close the ends of pipes.
  • Flanges: For connecting GRP pipes to other components (valves, equipment, etc.).

One of the benefits of GRP Pipes is the ability it provides to fabricate a wide assortment of fittings, standard as well as non standard as per the requirements.
