Degasser towers are commonly used in water treatment plants, oil and gas production, and chemical industries.<\/p>\n<p><b>Funci\u00f3n<\/b>: Degasser is an integral part of any demineralization plant, where it is generally placed between cation and anion exchange units. It removes carbon dioxide, which is generated by dissociation of carbonic acid at cation outlet water. Degasser tower is made from either FRP or mild steel lined with rubber. Low air pressure is generated at the bottom of the tower that drives out carbon dioxide and degasser water is collected in a sump beneath the tower.Its primary function is to strip or &#8220;degas&#8221; unwanted gases from liquids, which may cause issues in downstream processes or equipment, such as corrosion, scaling, or reduced efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Standard FD range of degassing towers cover flow rates from 4 m\u00b3\/hour to 200 m\u00b3\/hour.
