Overview
SHEPL’s Trough Distributor is a liquid distributor designed with long channels, or troughs, and one or more parting boxes to regulate liquid flow. The parting box controls the liquid velocity, ensuring proportional distribution across the troughs.
As a crucial component of tower internals, trough distributors play a key role in optimizing the performance of separation columns. They ensure even liquid and gas flow, enhancing mass transfer efficiency and improving the removal of contaminants and pollutants.
