ION Exchange Vessels

An FRP, or fiber-reinforced plastic, ion exchange tank is a necessary component of contemporary water treatment systems. FRP tanks are especially suitable for ion exchange processes, a system in which unwanted ions in water are exchanged for more desirable ions through the use of specialized resins.

FRP tanks are used extensively due to their high corrosion resistance, minimal construction weight, and excellent long-term life. These qualities make them an ideal selection for the treatment of aggressive chemicals and their use in harsh conditions.

Depending on the individual requirements of the process, these tanks can be complemented with various types of resins. Cation exchange resins are utilized in order to absorb positively charged ions, and anion exchange resins are utilized to eliminate negatively charged ions.
