Torus-Saddle

Torrus-Saddle made of electrotechnical ceramics and carbobn and are used to fill the packed columns and other heat and mass transfer equipment with the invasive environment. Torrus Saddles are available to the order of sizes: 1″ (25 mm), 1.5″ (37 mm), 2″ (50 mm), 3″ (75 mm). Torrus Saddlerelate to irregular acid-resistant packing. The surface of the Torrus Saddle is part of the torus. Compared to Raschig rings, Torrus Saddle with the same size of packed bodies have a 25% larger specific surface area and a slightly larger free volume. Saddle-backed packing has less hydraulic resistance and greater efficiency, than the Raschig rings.
