Dual Laminate (Thermoplastic – FRP) Equipments

Dual Laminate (Thermoplastic – FRP) Equipment

Overview

Dual laminate FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) equipment refers to a composite construction where the inner layer is made of a thermoplastic or fluoropolymer material and the outer layer is FRP. This design combines the corrosion resistance of the thermoplastic liner with the mechanical strength and durability of FRP, making it highly suitable for handling aggressive chemicals in various industries.

The thermoplastic liner, such as PP,PVC, CPVC, PVDF, PTFE or ECTFE, offers excellent resistance to chemicals, acids, and solvents. The outer FRP layer provides high mechanical strength, resistance to impact, and the ability to withstand pressure and external forces. Compared to metals, dual laminate FRP equipment is lightweight, which simplifies handling and installation. Can be tailored to specific applications, making it suitable for tanks, pipes, reactors, scrubbers, and more.

The dual laminate structure is ideal when both chemical resistance and mechanical performance are critical.
