SH Engitech’s GD-1 Type Gas Distributor is designed carefully to provide exact and uniform gas or vapor distribution over packed or tray columns, particularly those with a diameter larger than 300 mm. Such distribution is significant for achieving the best mass transfer efficiency as well as overall performance of distillation, absorption, or stripping columns.

Aimed for application on metal and plastic column internals, the GD-1 ensures proper distribution of gas before it reaches the packed bed. This reduces the tendency to channel and maldistribute, hence preventing poor phase contact and column inefficiency otherwise caused by channeling and maldistribution.

Constructed of premier corrosion-resistant materials, it performs flawlessly in aggressive environments such as chemical plants, petrochemical plants, and wastewater treatment. Under exposure to severe vapors or cyclical load fluctuations, the GD-1 performs steadily and evenly.
