SH Engitech designs and manufactures customized Acid Fumes Recovery Plants for the controlled capture, treatment and recovery of acidic vapours, gases and mist generated from industrial processes. Each system is configured according to the actual process conditions, including gas flow rate, gas composition, acid concentration, operating temperature, moisture content, pollutant loading, pressure drop and required outlet gas quality. The absorption and scrubbing stages are selected to provide effective gas-liquid contact and mass transfer, while mist eliminators can be incorporated to minimize carryover of entrained liquid droplets. Where recovery is technically and economically practical, the absorbed acid stream can be collected, concentrated or routed for controlled reuse, helping reduce chemical losses and process waste.
For corrosive applications, equipment, piping and associated components are selected according to chemical compatibility and operating conditions. SH Engitech can manufacture suitable corrosion-resistant equipment, including FRP-based scrubbers, ducts, tanks and piping, where applicable to the process.
